First Compatriot Event Summary

November 17, 2015 By United States Vets

tantanellasUnited States Vets Inc. hosted the first Veterans’ Compatriot Program meeting on November 10th, at Grace Lutheran Church in Toledo. Mr. John Tantanella, Toledo visionary and veteran advocate, was the first of many the speakers planned for the upcoming season.

Mr. Tantanella has been actively involved in community-minded veteran services in the Toledo area. His organization, Christians Serving Vets, www.CSVintheUSA.com and involvement in outreach programs has captured his interest for future expansion of veteran resource centers in the area. Mr. Tantanella shared with the audience his fine resume of involvement with many veterans’ organizations and centers reaching out to them not only with a sense of hope but also that of encouragement.

Compatriot meetings are an awesome opportunity to meet and learn what’s going on in veteran community and how someone is making a difference! If you are not yet a member of the Compatriot Program and would like to attend other meetings, please sign up on this site. There are no fees or dues to become part of this exciting program designed for veterans, families and friends. For more information, contact Leslie Mestrow at Lclouden7@gmail.com or (570) 336-3340.
