Air Force Veteran Wins First Veteran Education Fund Award

January 9, 2017 By Zigit

Victoria Thompson of Toledo is the winner of the United States Vets Inc. “Veteran Education Fund” for her outstanding essay and service.

An Air Force veteran, she is studying for her master’s degree in criminal justice, and is putting her skills to work for the Toledo community with a remarkable and unique understanding of the justice system. Victoria is the first recipient of this award. We applaud her efforts, not only of service to our country, but her commitment to the community and fellow veterans.

Chris Cremean, secretary of United States Vets Inc. remarked that her submitted essay on “How can veterans can reach their highest potential in life” was representative of the veteran’s voice and captured the spirit of improving her life as well as her fellow veterans.
