United States Vets, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has received a Spark Good Local Grant from Sam’s Club (Holland). This generous support will help provide emergency assistance to local veterans and their families when unexpected needs arise. We are grateful for Sam’s Club’s commitment to supporting those who have served our community and country.
We’re looking for women veterans to walk in the Maumee Memorial Day Parade on
Parade forms at the Maumee United Methodist Church located at 405 Sackett Street.

Executive Director and Co-Founder of United States Vets, Inc., Chris Cremean presents Joshua M. Turner with a $2,500 check of the 2024 George E. Prokos Veteran
Education Fund Awardee. Joshua says, “It’ll definitely will help me with the parking fees at the school and trying to fix up my house.”
Joshua had a 10- year career in the United States Coast Guard. He served as an Operations Specialist and is enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity at the
University of Toledo.
