New Veteran Housing Available

The Commons at Garden Lake, a housing facility for homeless veterans on Garden Lake Parkway, hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new facility that offers 75 furnished and equipped new apartments. Thanks to National Church Residences, this site can help alleviate the veteran homeless problem in Toledo. The facility is handicapped accessible, offers on-site support services and an employment resource center. This permanent supporting housing project is to improve the lives of our veterans and provide opportunities to them. [Read more…]
