January’s Compatriot meeting was canceled but, as promised, it is rescheduled this month. Location site has also be been changed. Please join us and other vets as we explore the unique world of writing and journaling. No experience is necessary, just bring your imagination.
Writing & Journaling – Putting It All Together
The March Compatriot meeting is open to all who have an interest in learning the fundamentals of writing a story. Writing is not only creative but wonderfully therapeutic. If you are looking to spill those words on paper and not sure how to start, this is the meeting for you.
Veterans’ stories are compelling and complex and need to be told. Follow us on a journey of reflection during this 90-minute presentation to release and enjoy the inner wordsmith in you.
The featured speaker will be United States Vets Inc. public relations coordinator, Leslie Mestrow. A journalist and published magazine writer for over 25 years, Ms. Mestrow will share her techniques to bring out the storyteller in you.
It will be an exciting evening of sharing stories, writers’ secrets and how to get motivated about your personal story.
Meet us on Wednesday, March 23, 6 – 8 pm
